This was the phrase that Rodolfo "Rudy" Salgado not only heard often, but also saw in practice from both his father and his father-in-law. For them it was only natural to make sure their family, friends, and anyone in their home was fed.

This simple yet powerful phrase and the values of hard work and determination encouraged Rudy to open a food truck in the late 90's. After over half a decade, the Salgado family expanded in 2005 to open Rudy's, a family-run restaurant. Here they continue to serve their community with the combined Peruvian and Mexican recipes and traditions from the joined families of Rudy and his wife, Maria.

Today they continue to cook and serve food for others as if it was for their family. Come and taste a rich heritage of recipes that have been prepared with love and care.
